      It fixes the following problems:
      • Incorrect interpretation of non-ASCII filenames in files created in previous verions of Animo
      • Manual calibration fails with some scanner/driver combinations
      • ScanLevel warning and/or crash when pasting drawings into an empty level
      • Reference Window does not remain on Previous Frame when model changes
      • Corrupted images when writing PICT format
      • Unwanted scrolling of XSheet when clicking in frame number column or header
      • QuickTime codec list does not show some codecs (e.g. Blackmagic)
      • 12-bit (NeXT) TIFF images are not read correctly
      • Errors when local rendering to an output device
      and adds the following features:
      • Support for Image Capture scanner drivers on OS X 10.2 'Jaguar' and 10.3 'Panther'
      • Configure now has entries for default column unit type and precision
      • Ability to choose the field chart for Native TWAIN scanning
      • Default scanning mode is now Animo Advanced, to reflect user feedback
      • Configure entries for several more scanning options

      • Orientation errors when rescanning video-captured drawings
      • Native TWAIN scanning in PencilTester assumes drawing are bottom-pegged
      • Failure to correctly update Animo 1.7 levels and color models
      • PencilTester clamp adjustment does not use white balance
      • Incorrect phonemes displayed on soundtracks

      And adds the following features:
      • Scalable Vector Graphics (.svg) output from InkPaint and VectorEditor
      • Improved PencilTester video capture interface
